Multi-Geography Portfolio Optimisation
The Client
Our client is a global technology company with a payment network connecting consumers, financial institutions, merchants, governments and businesses in more than 210 countries and territories.
The challenge
Our client was selected as the central payments infrastructure technology provider for the Nordic regions ‘P27 Programme’ designed to deliver cost-effective domestic and cross border payments services in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Euro currencies.
The programme is considered a ‘top-10 globally significant programme’ for the client. It is their largest ever new payment platform programme to date and an integral part of their overarching global payments hub portfolio.
The solution
Airwalk Reply was engaged to lead the P27 Programme, to establish a suitable programme structure, governance model and delivery approach for a single customer multi-order environment which the client had not undertaken before. Airwalk Reply was also engaged to manage and deliver the programme, including the delivery of their new European infrastructure Hub.
Using our established programme methodology Airwalk Reply designed, constructed and resourced the programme to deliver multiple concurrent application and infrastructure orders from a single customer of our client.
The outcome
Airwalk Reply designed, resourced and implemented a full programme structure managing end-to-end delivery for all P27 Programme requirements. We standardised the approach to solution architectures, with options for re-use and implemented an end-to-end portfolio-level governance and control model.
The project resulted in the establishment of a repeatable, standardised and scalable approach to be adopted across other infrastructure hubs.
